Extension to TMG (S) privileges

Add a Touring Motor Glider rating to your licence and extend your range and flexibility.

Duration

1 week

Level

SPL Required

Certification

AMC1 SFCL.150(b) TMG

Course Overview

The TMG (Touring Motor Glider) rating extends the SPL license to include motor gliders. It allows for self-launching, long-distance cross-country flying, and the ability to return at any time.

This rating is particularly useful for touring and expeditions.

The TMG privilege extension significantly simplifies the process of obtaining the Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL(A)).

In accordance with articles FCL.035 and FCL.115, comparable theoretical subjects (air law, human performance, meteorology, communications, navigation) already credited for the SPL/TMG are taken into account.

All flight hours logged as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) during TMG training count equally towards the minimum flight time required for the LAPL(A) (the standard minimum is 30 hours).
