Ground School & Theory
Learn the fundamentals of aerodynamics, meteorology, navigation, and aviation regulations with e-learning. This foundation prepares you for safe and confident flying. You will easily pass the theoretical exam.
Simulator Training
The simulator significantly saves time and reduces the overall cost of training. Build muscle memory and practice essential maneuvers in our flight simulator before taking to the skies. No pressure, unlimited repetitions.
Dual Instruction Flights
Fly with a certified instructor who guides you through takeoffs, thermals, circuit patterns, and landings. You progress at your own pace with personalized feedback.
First Solo Flight
A milestone moment: take the controls entirely on your own. Your instructor has approved your readiness — now it's your sky.
SPL Licence & Beyond
Complete your cross-country training, pass the theory exam and practical test to earn your Sailplane Pilot Licence (SPL). Then explore the Alps.
Our Programs

Harness mountain wave systems for altitude records, diamond badges, and long-distance flights.

Namibia: Your Dream 1,000 km Flight Awaits
Experience the world’s most exhilarating soaring sky over the majestic Namib Desert. Full turnkey mentoring and glider support for your first African expedition.
Before You Start
Medical Requirements
To obtain a glider pilot’s licence, you will need to provide a Class 2 medical certificate. Fortunately, you can undergo the medical examination directly at LFNF aerodrome.
Schedule & Commitment
The training takes place in intensive blocks of two weeks for SPL programmes, and one week for additional qualifications. Full-time availability is required to get the most out of the programme.
Accommodation
On-site accommodation is available at Vinon aerodrome for around €30–50 per night. If you’re planning to bring your family, the Phoenix Hotel may be a better option: as well as transport and accommodation, it offers a programme of excursions for family members who aren’t taking part in the flights.
